  • Fan Code of Conduct
    Every guest who visits Levitate Music Festival (LMF) deserves the best possible experience. You can contribute to a great experience by conducting yourself appropriately at all times and making sure anyone who uses your tickets does the same. FOR THE ENJOYMENT AND SAFETY OF ALL, THE FOLLOWING BEHAVIORS ARE PROHIBITED IN AND AROUND THE MUSIC MIDTOWN EVENT SITE: Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures Interference with the progress of the event (including throwing objects onto the stage) Failing to follow instructions of law enforcement, guest experience, and security personnel Verbal or physical harassment of anyone attending or working Unreasonably obstructing the view of other patrons Offensive language or obscene gestures, including the use of such language or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or instigating, inciting or encouraging a confrontation or physical assault Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes Unauthorized advertising or other commercial activities Failure to comply with instructions or guidance given by Police, LMF staff, and/or security at their discretion as it applies to security, health, and safety concerns. Failure to comply with event policies ALL MEMBERS AND GUESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT ANY VIOLATION OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT. You can report such incidents by informing an usher, police officer, or any member of the Levitate Staff. In addition, you can discreetly report unruly fans by texting the issue and location and the information will be relayed to LMF security team. Any member or guest who violates this Code of Conduct, any other policy or applicable law may be subject to ejection, ticket revocation, prohibition from attending future events and/or possible arrest.   • What is the Levitate Music & Arts Festival?
    Levitate's signature summertime celebration of music and art that brings the Levitate community together and brings world-class music and art to our area, as well as providing a platform to share our community’s talented musicians and artists with the world.
  • Where is the Levitate Music & Arts Festival Being Held?
    Just 30 minutes south of Boston, the Festival takes place at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, 140 Main St, Marshfield MA 02050.
  • When is the 2024 Levitate Music & Arts Festival?
    The 2024 Levitate Music & Arts Festival will take place July 5, 6, & 7, 2024 at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.
  • When do the gates open & close?
    Gates open at 12:30 pm each Festival day. The Festival typically ends around 9:30 PM.
  • Can I come and go from the festival?
    Yes, every attendee will have a wristband, allowing them to come and go as they please. Attendees will have to pass through security upon re-entry.
  • What if it rains?
    The Levitate Music & Arts Festival is a rain or shine event.
  • Can I camp at the Festival?
    Camping options can be found on our website: https://www.levitatemusicfestival.com/camping Please note, there is absolutely no camping on Marshfield Fairground property.
  • Will there be an ATM on site?
    Unfortunately there will be no ATM available on the Festival grounds, please bring your own cash if that is your preferred payment method.
  • Are children welcome at the Festival?
    Yes! The Levitate Music & Arts Festival is a family-friendly event and welcomes children of all ages. Kids tickets are available through Frontgate. Children under 4 are permitted to attend without a ticket. Be sure to check out our Kids World for some fun activities! Please note that the vip area is 21+.
  • Are children allowed in the VIP area?
    The VIP Area is 21+. No children will be permitted in the VIP area.
  • What am I not allowed to bring into the Festival?
    For the comfort and safety of all Festival guests, certain items are prohibited from entering the event: - Weapons, ammunition of any kind - Fireworks, explosives, and projectiles of any kind - Clear plastic, vinyl or pvc tote bags no larger than 12"x6"x12" with a single compartment, and/or small clutch bag 4.5"x6.5" are permitted. Bags that do not comply with this policy will not be permitted into the event. *Please plan accordingly. * Please note that all bags will be subject to search upon entering the festival. - Pop-up tents, canopies and umbrellas - Lawn chairs with seat backs higher than 28” and legs higher than 8” Please see rules for any chair - Outside drinks (excluding unopened water, supplies for babies and medical reasons) - Outside foods (excluding supplies for babies and medical reasons) - Alcohol and Drugs - Glass containers - Coolers - Selfie sticks or laser pointers - Bicycles - Skateboards, scooters, hoverboards or personal motorized vehicles - Instruments and laser pointers - Cameras with detachable lenses - Drones and drone cameras - Unauthorized vendors - Squirt guns - Pets.   • Can I bring a bag into the Festival?
    Clear plastic, vinyl or pvc tote bags no larger than 12"x6"x12" with a single compartment, and/or small clutch bag 4.5"x6.5" are permitted. Bags that do not comply with this policy will not be permitted into the event. *Please plan accordingly.* Please note that all bags will be subject to search upon entering the festival.   • Can I bring a chair into the Festival?
    Low profile chairs will be permitted at the festival in designated areas. Please note that chair backs must be no higher than 28" and chair legs must be no higher than 8" to help ensure that all guests have the best view of the stage possible! No beach blankets or chairs are allowed in front of the stage areas - please follow marked signage for designated areas.
  • Where can I park?
    Pre-paid parking is available through Frontgate. There are various pre-paid parking lots so please be aware of signage, follow parking staff directions, and have your pre-paid parking pass ready! Please note there is no overnight parking allowed at any of the walkabl or satellite lots. Parking on the festival day(s) is off-site at Furnace Brook Middle School (500 Furnace St, Marshfield MA 02050). Off-site parking is $20 per car, per day, to benefit the Marshfield Boys & Girls Club. There will be a free shuttle running to and from the festival starting at 11:30 am. Please note there is no overnight parking allowed at any of the on-site or satellite lots.
  • What is the policy on ticket refunds?
    This event is rain or shine, There is a no refund policy on all ticket purchases, no exceptions. in the event that the event is postponed, all tickets will be valid at the rescheduled event date.
  • Can you rent lockers at the festival?

  • Is there a Lost & Found?
    Yes! Lost & Found items are brought to the Info Booth, located at the Main Gate, during Festival weekend. After the Event, items are brought to the Site Operations building on site and held until July 9th. After July 9th, any remaining lost & found items will be brought to the Levitate shop located at 1871 Ocean St, Marshfield MA.
  • How Old Do I need to be to volunteer?
    You must be at least 16 (with a valid driver's license) to work day shifts, and 18 to work night shifts.
  • What types of volunteer positions are available?
    We are looking for volunteers to fill positions in a variety of departments including ticketing, box office, and parking/transportation.
  • Can I request a certain Department that best fits my skill set?
    Department preference can be specified in your application and will be taken into consideration when assigning your shift, however, a smooth-running festival comes first so you may be placed on an as-needed basis.
  • When do I show up and where do I park?
    All volunteers please park at Marshfield high school and take the free event shuttle directly to the festival site; it is recommended you arrive at the high school one hour before your shift - a 30-minute orientation will be given at the volunteer check-in tent a half-hour prior to your shift.
  • Can I work with my friends?
    Yes! Please make sure you and your friends sign up for the same shifts.
  • I want to make sure that I see my favorite band! Can I work around that?
    Yes! Be sure to select shifts that will allow you to see your favorite band.
  • I already purchased a ticket. Can I get a refund if I decide to volunteer?

  • Where should I stay?
    Levitate Music Festival does not have onsite camping and volunteer camping will not be provided. If you need a place to stay, CLICK HERE to view camping options nearby and book a site! Be sure to book early as campsites can fill up fast. If you prefer a hotel or BNB, there are a variety of hotels and lodging options in the surrounding south shore towns.
